Would it work if i changed your code from #include <M5Stack.h> to m5stickc.h ? (I left the units at my place of worship but will try to flash them again soon). Also, to anyone worried about battery life. A simple solution (if you have the option) is to mount these over monitors that have USB power. I did this in our setup and it has worked out perfectly without needing to charge. I can even let the internal battery die on them and they will boot right up as soon as they draw power from the monitors.

To resolve the battery issue, I use a small 1800mAh battery pack (Dutch link). I have a white one and I can use it for at least the length of a church service (1,5 to 2 hours). Haven't tried to drain the battery pack on Live mode yet. This battery pack looks even better, for only less than 1 euro extra. Just look around and see what's best for your situation.

Hi guys. I received the ordered M5Stack-C. I installed Arduino 1.8.13 on my PC and also installed the library. By the way, M5Stack-c SW burning is the first time, so I don't understand. By step by step, is there an app site that I study? Would you please advise me. Best, julianlee

Best, julianlee My holiday starts at the end of this week. I hope to fix a lot of the todo's that are still open. I'm also planning to do a complete tutorial from when the Stick arrives, without having the Arduino IDE installed. So I hope that that tutorial would fix your problem. However, I have a pretty busy life, so I can't promise anything, except that when I do it, I'll do my best!

Hi, Guidogast. That's very good news. Perhaps it is possible with your help. I am the old man of COBOL, FROTRAN generation. I would like to send you a gift after a good success.

Awesome Julian! I'm glad it's working for you. I just added new features. The Web UI now is dark and you can adjust the brightness of the LCD either via the stick itself or via the Web UI. Check GitHub for all the latest and greatest.

Alright, the last big feature is added: Multi tally support. The new release is published (v1.3), you can download it on GitHubAs of this moment, I'm not planning on adding a lot more new features unless it really adds more value to the project, it's my holiday after all 😅 Cheers! 🍻

Hi, guidogast. Thanks to your help, it works very well. The m5stickc and battery stick are available 24 hours a day. If you have time, please review the contents below. This is an additional inquiry. Is it possible to add the sleep mode ON/OFF function to the web ui of m5stickc? ON: m5stickc screen clear mode. OFF: m5stick re-booting mode. If possible, various uncomfortable problems will be solved. M5STICKC WITH STICK(Battery Support).jpg (26kb) downloaded 2 time(s).

Hi Julian, Thanks for the feature request. What do you mean by Sleep Mode and Rebooting Mode?

1) Install more than 2ea m5stickc in a long and high distance indoors. Therefore, when restarting vmix or rebooting PC, tally cannot be directly linked. (M5stick must always be rebooted)
2) After the use of vmix, m5stick is displayed in the last state. It is difficult to reboot manually due to the installation location of the mtstick.
3) Therefore, because on/off/ is convenient in m5stick web ui... (Since the ip of vmix PC and m5stick are on the same internal ip, it is very easy to access m5stick web ui easily with Chrome browser)
4) Do you have any better ideas...? Best,

Just purchased a M5StickC PLUS. It should be more efficient and has a bigger screen resolution. I hope that I can check in code what board is being used, so I can change coordinates of the text on screen on the fly. Otherwise I'll make an option to use the PLUS or the original.
I ordered it on AliExpress, meaning it will arrive in about a month, so that's when I can start supporting the PLUS.
@julianlee Do you mean a reconnection button to vMix in the web interface? That would be easy to implement. I don't really get the on/off buttons that you describe.

Just pushed v1.4 to GitHub. 🐛 Fixed bug where Stick wouldn't show that it wasn't connected to vMix ⚡ Added Reconnect button to Web UI ⚡ Web UI now uses the Fetch API (the browser stays on the main page after clicking the save button)
