Hi Team,

I will start by saying that the software is awesome! :) Also, this is my first post.

We have been using vMix at our church since just before COVID isolation (since February 2020). We use it every Sunday to live stream our live service (without a congregation) to YouTube and Facebook.

On the weekend I updated the Software to v 23.0.0.59. I usually do this sort of maintenance on the Saturday before the service.

During the setup time before the service, everything was working fine, meaning that I could switch from camera input to camera input (we have 3 cameras) and to various other inputs we have (videos, bottom thirds, NDI...). This is to say that there are many moving parts.

Once the service started (I had, External, Fullscreen, Recording and Streaming turned on), I was unable to switch between camera inputs, or add any bottom thirds overlays. I was forced to restart vMix.

I am looking to understand what might have happened. Curious to know if there are any logs available to check the operation of vMix? Can someone help me and point in the right direction, please?

Peter, good to see you one the forum. Give me a PM and I'll give you a hand with this, or if you still have mobile number! Cheers, Andrew
