I create and work with a lot of Scripts in vMix, currently I have over 30 that I use depending on the project.

The Downside is that my config file keeps growing bigger and bigger.

These are a couple New Features I'd like to see added:

  1. Ability to designate whether the Script is Local (to current Present) or Global. Just Like Shortcuts.
  2. Ability to Export & Import a selection of Scripts (All, Selected Only)

Thanks Martin! Am Enjoying how easy vMix makes my life

I like that idea, but I'd take it a step further and have the option for the scripts to be kept as external files if you choose, which will naturally reduce the size of the config. I have all of my scripts saved as vb in the file system as a backup and for easier editing.

Having the scripts in the project would be a big deal. System wide scripts don't make a lot of sense in our workflow. Having them external would be huge, and really help the casual users, by being able to share easily.

What would be cool is to have them be like "inputs" in a project when it comes to Opening and Appending a project.

FYI

Is avaialbel in latest v24 early preview!

Based on that

Its has become easier to "archive" them by pulling them from the preset file (an XML reader). Was possible from the config file too just a bit more complicated

+1 (with respect to Export/Import multiple scripts) - INCLUDING the scripts names.

As doggy notes "Local" has been implemented in 24. I posted some notes on how that behaves (strange) in the beta 24 topic.
