They switch in perfectly fine, but I cannot see in Multiview editor or in list of inputs. I deleted the original they were "virtual" created from, which I am assuming is what caused it - but everything else is working. Bug?

Its not a deal breaker, but I would love to have those input previews visible for peace of mind when using VMix Call for monitoring purposes.

I never found a software that can undo a mistake I did 6 months ago !

I guess all I am getting at is that if the virtual input still is functional after deleting the original input, there should be a way to regenerate the virtual input preview based on what it currently has with the multiview.

Training, documentation, more training and discipline is your answer. Also turn on the "Do you really want to close this input?" prompt and then don't forget re-training....

In each input that turned gray, go to settings> general > on the top right coner "change" > then select de original input. In my case was color/transparent, I retrive my layers and triggers on the same configuration I left.
