I'm hoping to use Vmix as the source of my picture/sound in a Zoom conversation.
I presumed that to do that, I'd need to use the external button in Vmix. In my other app, when I'm looking for a webcam signal, I can't seem to "find" a camera signal though. I've tried all of the options it gives me, but even though I should have a live feed, I just an error message, or no signal.

I'm testing it with Chrome, in the facebook live camera test, and also another online camera tester (webcamtests.com), but while these give me the following options in a dropdown list, none of them work.

 Blackmagic WDM capture
 Blackmagic WDM capture (2)
 Decklink Video capture (3)
 Decklink video capture
 Vmix Video
 Vmix Video External 2
 Vmix Video YV12
 Decklink Video Capture (2)

Any ideas of what I need to check?

Are you saying that when you have external activated you can not find "vMix Video" in your zoom app camera selection (both same computer) ? |

Hmm do you have a separate device for output ??

Maybe a little detour but you could use NDI out of vMix into NDI Virtual Input App. You need to install the NDI tools for that. The virtual input should be seen by other apps just as you would expect the vMix Video. |
