I downloaded the excellent app from elgato: stream deck mobile

When I try to create a software shortcut when I click a button "find",
I click the button on the app on the phone that I want to make a shortcut.

The vmix software cannot detect the button from the app.

Does anyone have any idea why it doesn't work?
Do you know if the software supports the application at all?

Dont believe the vMix Stream Deck Plugin is even capable of detecting this "virtual" Stream Deck.

will have to work the standard way ie , like before the plugin existed in the hardware version, by setting your commands in the streamdeck ( HW or app)

Stream Deck works very well even without the vmix plugin by using the "website" button option and giving it an API call function



(Not going to register to try the app ;-) )

Have you installed the Stream Deck software on the vMix computer? And have you installed the vMix actions in this software?

There is a nice tutorial from Tim, and basically you will probably (haven't tried it) have to follow all the steps he does with the hardware version, and additionally connect your app to the software:
