Is it possible to make all inputs in vMix a NDI Source? I just tested the birddog mini for decoding with vMix and I only could have sent cameras, audio and outputs as NDI sources. It would have been great that I could have sent a slideshow input to a confidence monitor for a presenter.

The 4 Outputs in vMIx can be assigned as NDI sources on the network. You can then assign a vMix Input (Camera, Slideshow, Video, etc) to any of those Outputs. Those Outputs will then be available at the BirdDog decoder.

I think the number of outputs varies with the version you have. My copy of vMix 4K has 4 explicit NDI outputs. It can also send makes cameras / calls / audio sources available as NDI.

In a project involving two projectors, I send External 1 and External 2 to projectors. Then I program a Streamdeck keypad to control the source to each projector.

Be aware that with full-bandwidth NDI at 1080p60 you can quickly overcome a single gigabit connection to your switch. My vMix host as two NICs which helps a lot.

Yes, it possible. But consider the bandwidth.
Settings-Outputs/NDI/SRT
Check the additional NDI outputs for Cameras/Calls/Audio inputs. Just enable the NDI switch there and all inputs will be seen via NDI.

Thank you all for your replies. I was able to select any input and then turn the NDI on. Great. I am really loving NDI
