*Updated*
The test release of vMix 2011 v11 is now available and includes numerous bug fixes and changes.

http://www.vmix.com.au/d...oad/vmix2011v11testb.exe

Some of the changes include:

* PlayList has been changed to save PlayList along with Preset automatically.
* PlayList items can now set a start time for each video clip.
* Fixed issue causing some video recordings to stop suddenly.
* Video recordings should now be less susceptible to dropped frames.
* Enhanced error reporting for capture devices.
* ffdshow is blocked by default as it has numerous outstanding bugs. This functionality can be changed from the Settings -> Decoders -> Blocked Filter List item.

TestB also includes the following changes:

* New Virtual GenLock code that that fixes some jitter issues with DeckLink cards under rare circumstances.
Anyone experiencing smoothness issues should try this version.

* Virtual GenLock can now be selected on a per capture basis, for cases where multiple different cards are used in different configurations.

* Additional error reporting and optimisations when using DV and HDV cameras.

Please report any bugs here.

Thanks,

Martin

Does the second device work if you tick "Use VMR"?

Thanks,

no, it shows me an error that "one of the pins must be connected...", after that, i untick the "VMR" and it shows me an error that "device is not supported"

all error reports sended now.

note: i have tested with and without ffdshow filtering and the same problem persists.

Hi Melody,

Please run the following tests:
They must be done on the same computer with the two cameras attached in the same way:

1. Try vMix 2011 v11b with VMR9 ticked
2. Try vMix 2011 v11b with Virtual GenLock unticked
3. Provide a screenshot of the filter list for the second camera under vMix 2011 v11b

4. Reinstall vMix 2011 v9b on to same computer and try two cameras again and tick the audio checkbox for each one.
Provide a screenshot of the filter list for the second camera.

These tests will be helpful in fixing the issue, but only if all the tests are run to eliminate possible issues with the computer itself.

Thanks,

Martin

hi martin,

here are the results to the tests:

3. http://imageshack.us/pho...xv11testbcam2filter.jpg/

4. http://imageshack.us/pho...xv9bcam2filterlistw.jpg/
notes: audio checkbox ticked

http://imageshack.us/pho...xv9bcam2filterlistw.jpg/
notes: audio checkbox unticked

when audio checkbox is ticked in v9 the same problem come, second source blocks at first frame, but if untick audio checkbox camera works well.

thank you martin about v11 dv and hdv improvements, now my cameras works at 1024x576 (native).

please, if you can, try to enable 1024x576 at external output device, you know the general resize problems.

regards,

melody
