Hi Vmix Experts,

I'm trying to set Mix Input 2/3/4/... Preview and Output with a script but can't get it to work.

Here is what I'm trying:

Input.Find("VideoForMix2Preview.mov").Function("PreviewInput", Mix:=1)


It's not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated on how to do this.

Is there even a shortcut that can do this ? Not seeing it so far , then again its still early in the year ;-)

Function: PreviewInput & ActiveInput
Input: "theinput"
Mix: 1/2/3/4

A FYI for anyone looking at this, the Mix number you use in Scripting is the Mix number from the description - 1. It's Zero based in scripting, 1 based in the names.

That should save you the hours I spent trying to figure out why my script wasn't working. It will NOT give you an error if you reference a Mix number that doesn't exist.

yep, i use them on my streamdeck...

streamdeck keys mix 1-4
