FTL enables streamers to interact with their viewers in real-time, it's specifically tailored towards streams that engage viewers with interactive controls.

Not sure about FTL, but the rest of the world calls that "Video Conferencing." That's about real-time, bi-directional communications. Most of video conference systems leverage RTP. Further, traditional VC systems use UDP transport to favor staying real-time over retransmitting lost packets.
