Just updated VLC 3.0.6 player to 3.0.7.1. everything went south. Not compatible with NDI tools 3.8. Went back to 3.0.6. everything works now. This is just a heads up for those who want to try it.

If you copy out 'libndi_plugin.dll' from 'C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins\video_output' from VLC 3.06, then do the VLC upgrade and copy this DLL file back in the same location, it will work. Looks like the VLC upgrade can wipe-out the NDI plug-in and the NDI Tools installer isn't able to recognize the VLC 3.0.7.1 software to install the plug-in again.

I'm going to bug it, but the above should get you work for the time being.

The problem of new vlc versions is that video output to NDI works but we can't load in a playlist still images (jpeg) to send over NDI output. In old versions this was possible.
