Activator for Script that is running

I have written a script in a shortcut that presets and transitions to several cameras in sequence, while overlaying and changing data rows a dynamic graphic. Is there way to use an activator on an xKeys 128 Tbar, to have the shortcut button blink while the script is running?
I don't see anything under EVENT that would correspond to a script. Thx!

I have something similar so maybe this will help for you,
If you're not using all 4 overlays you could add a second shortcut on the same button that starts the script to put up overlay 4 with a transparent layer and set the activator to [if transparent layer is in overlay slot 4, blink X button] - then have the script end (or shortcut that ends the script) also take overlay 4 down.
