Hi

We're very, very happy users of vMix and I have problem, I'd like to ask for advice on.

We do commercial, b2b livestreaming and 90% of our clients are first-timers/new clients, we're mostly in a situation, where we live stream from a clients auditorium the first time.

More and more often, we have problems getting online using their network.

Most of the problems arise because their safety/firewall/network settings are so strict, that we're not even allowed access.

Sometimes, like Saturday and yesterday for us, we do get access, but the connection is "flaky" - doing speedtests, shows us lots of speed/headroom, but when streaming, we don't get a consistant result.

How do you guys handle this problem?

The best Case would be talking to the customers IT in advance, so they can grant you Access.

Otherwise we are using LTE-Routers with an unlimited Data Card, make sure to check the Network Speed in advance, depending on the LTE-Coverage.

In cases where we don't have have access to a Power-Socket, we use a mobile Hotspot like "Huawei E5885Ls" which has its own battery pack.

If the reception inside Buildings isn't good enough, we have the Hotspot outside of a Window and have it connected to our PC via a longer Ethernet Cable.
