Hello

Is there a way I can trigger the MERGE event by time? Say it will MERGE at 10:30am for 60 seconds, 12pm at 30 seconds, etc...

Will I also be able to log this information into a text file?

Thanks

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

vMix only allows Transition effects on the following Triggers:
- OnCompletion (for videos)
- OnCountdownCompleted (for countdown timers)

Since vMix does not recognize a time-of-day countdown as an actual timer (the computer clock doesn't stop), you would need to set-up an actual countdown timer (or series of timers) and start them appropriately to synchronize with the time-of-day you want the Trigger to "fire" (i.e. start a 30 minute timer at 10:00 am for a 10:30 am Merge Transition).

Unfortunately, vMix is not designed as a "Playout System" and so does not log such things into a text file.

I hope that helps to answer your question.
