Did someone tested stream out capabilities?
Can it recover from bad stream (bandwith limited)?
Can it keep last frame until new frames will arrive (disconnection)?
Can be buffer configured for 5-10 seconds?

Very nice feature would be fail-switch-over when MAIN stream is broken and have back up stream...

I suppose that transcoding itself is done by FFmpeg and it likes hang out when stream input is not perfect, so question is if this is better solution for mentioned problems what happens in network regularly.

I think best approach is NOT taking a software and program all the if's and elses in it but to make your connections more reliable with bonding. Then on a solid bonded connection it's almost impossible to break the connection at all.
