It would be very handy to have an export function to not only export the graphics as a single .png file, but also the whole animation as an image sequence to use the same graphics for post in other applications.

I see where you are getting at ;-)

what if you recorded the title action (on green color input) and use the vMix videotool to create the image sequence ?

Record the output as NDI with alpha using NewTek codec with alpha, and use adobe media encoder, for example, and export the NewTek video as sequential PNG.

A work around but a manageable workflow.
