hi Martin,
I am testing v11 and so good so far.
do I need to update the screen capture modules as well and could you specify with further releases if yes or no to do so and in case of an update pre release where to get them.
i always test them both windows and apple versions.
in one production we had problems using the apple desktop screencapture module. we had to download the latest version from the site. then we had an issue, because we could only capture the presenters window (with timing and all that) and not the projected window. Finally we ended up cropping the window to the preview in the presenter window and thus including the powerpoint in the mix. This to show the versatility of vmix in finding solutions on the spot. this because the apple laptop did not have a fixed internet and we had to use wireless in combination with a conversion set to cat5...
about screencapture with avermedia game broadcaster vga input: I still notice a lot of dropped frames reported when capturing a 60 fps input (screen capture) and recording to 25p. Would it be possible to set the desired capture framerate to a lower setting (even 1 or 2 fps when capturing a screen or powerpoint through vga input). The other frames could be ignored. It would be a frame grabber fuction just grabbing a frame now and then, most elegantly the captured frames would have change detection, just like the desktop capture ( will have to test that more indepth). greetings
stefan

The vMix Desktop Capture programs do not need to be updated from vMix 9 or 10. If using the older desktop capture programs new features such as change detection will not be in effect but it will still work fine.
Regards,
Martin vMix

dear martin,
colour coded category is very good feature. i think, black ( main) folder for camera input only. don't show all other color folder input files in blaak (main Folder).
it mean all files show twice. it will create problem add or load more input files.
thanku

Hi Martin,
Nice work again!
I was wondering how the "SelectCategory" shortcut works? I am only able to select an input, but I expect a list of some categories/colors.
Regards, Hanno.

could you add "Value" parameter for "SetVolume" function? :) and do you plan add function AudioFade or similar? (i.e. ?funtion=AudioFade&Value=100&Duration=500&Input=guid)

It seems like in the preview every time you commit a change it resets the Fullscreen output to Program Out. Makes it hard to use the multiview :-\

Could you describe step by step how to re-create the issue you're seeing? As a simple test I have: 1. Added two video clips 2. Set fullscreen to multiview mode 3. Switched/faded/cut between the inputs and the fullscreen remains the same Regards, Martin vMix

Hy Martin!
During our today's broadcast I noticed some things:
- The ticker-text does not change the speed if the duration is set on a shorter time. In vMix 10 the text was running faster after setting the duration on 30 seconds. Now it just restarts after that time. The speed however does not change anymore.
- If I accidentaly click the Audio Input and therefore load it to the preview (clicked by mistake) the Audio was cut off. I had to klick audio again to make it work again. I would prefer to mute an input in the Audio Mixer instead of muting it as well when loading to the preview.
- The Saved-Clip-List is an absolute killer-feature. One suggestion. I loaded the list to the playlist to show a highlight-reel at the end of the broadcast. However it stopped after showing the one clip loaded. I think it would be better if it would jump on to the next video in the Highlight-List.
Greetz from Austria and thank for this amazing service

When having the Multiview up on 11.0.0.20, when I go in to the settings and hit 'ok' and save the settings it forces the fullscreen to Output instead of Multiview. :)

Make sure you have selected MultiView under the Output tab so it is set permanently.

A small update has been made to the Stream functionality: http://www.vmix.com.au/download/vmix11preview.exe (11.0.0.28) It fixes an issue with transport streams longer than approx. 26 hours in duration and also some RTSP streams greater than 6 hours. This will likely be the last release before the public version, so please submit any last minute bug reports here!Regards, Martin vMix
