New features are very amazing.
Is there a possibility in vMix11 version or the next version to add Web Based display output. In order to monitor the output / preview / multiview video on a smart phone via wifi?

Nice,

i will update as soon as

telephone based tally light is exactly how i was planning to do things ( i mounted my phone on my shoulder mount so i can see in the controller window what my operator is doing in what shot )

M@ik

(phone based preview would be nice, but most phones have different ways of doing live video, and most of them do it poorly, i was thinking about updating a jpeg every second or so with output data. I was thinking about doing that externally, but maybe it's quite easy to implement in the vmix webserver)

Congratulations Martin, these updates are great.

no possibility that add the name of the input and the audio meter to each entry in the multiview when fullscream mode, for people who always work with a separate screen for multiview.

Thank you very much Martin

nothing, except that IDM sees the link, but returns an error message item cannot be found...I think I have a remedy, I am going to reformat my HD, reload everything and try again....Since I posted , I tried my laptop, and it worked, so I think I may have a virus, or something has gone south with this PC........

Thanks for your reply......and I will let you know how I find the update.......

I mentioned in another post, that I truely enjoy using vMix.....I made all my windows black, instead of orange and green, and it looks so nice.....I think a very thin border on the modules to give more seperation may give a more realistic look...anyhow, Thanks again for your reply.....and keep the good work up....

Dear Martin

About : * MP4 Recording will stop before reaching 4GB under Windows 7. Unlimited recording time under Windows 8

Why not auto-split the Recording ?

Codecs such as H264 in MP4 compress frames as a group of pictures (GOP).
So if the recording was auto-split you would likely lose a couple of seconds of video.

This is so great. Thanks for the flash overlay and remembering the collapsed state.

With the new Delay Output List, can the last video saved be cued up first? I'm thinking of speed of workflow when you want to show a replay. Having the latest saved video immediately cue up at the top of the list would be helpful.

Great work Martin!

V11 looks nice!

I have had some problems with Decklink Shuttle inputs (with older vMix too).

My setup has:
1 x Decklink HD Extreme 3D card (for output), 2 x Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 (input) and 1 x Matrox MXO2 mini (input).

The problem is that the second Shuttle input goes sometimes black for few frames every now and then.

Capture selection list in vMix displays like this:

Blackmagic WDM Capture
Blackmagic WDM Capture(2)
Blackmagic WDM Capture(2)
Decklink Video Capture(3)
Decklink Video Capture
Matrox AV Input
vMix Video
Decklink Video Capture(2)

First I would like that vMix could sort this list. And there seems to be some strange overlapping and Blackmagic WDM Capture(2) is displayed twice in the list.

Media Express dispalys the Device inputs like this:
Decklink HD Extreme 3D
Intensity Shuttle(1)
Intensity Shuttle(2)

Kind regards,
J. Tervo

@jet
One of the first things I do right after installing BM drivers is go in device manager and disable all the "Blackmagic WDM Capture"
This way I only see "Decklink Video Capture(#)" in vMix capture drop down. of course it would be great if the showed in order but that's a windows thing.

It would be great if vMix had in its hardware settings panel the ability to map inputs then even if the very top card is to windows Decklink Video Capture(3) we could assign it as input #1, and the card below it may be Decklink Video Capture(4) we could assign that to show as input #2 and so on. Since I sell pre-configured systems this would help me tremendously.
(I'll copy this to request forum)

This is a well known problem with the shuttles, officially blackmagic only support one shuttle in a system and
only on a couple of USB 3.0 chipsets.

Hi Martin.

Would it be possible to build some kind fix (buffering) for this kind of problem? vMix could for an example use a copy of the last decent frame (and use it for max 1 second or so) if input suddenly has only black in it?

Kind regards,
J. Tervo

Best to contact blackmagic design directly about this but I suspect they will say
the shuttle is only supported on certain USB 3.0 chipsets.

It's a bad idea to start building in workarounds into vMix as it would just end up hiding a larger issue.

Thank you Martin for the horizontal wipe and slide that I have asked for. It is so good to find a developer like your self that is willing to work with others to better your product, and that requests are paid the necessary attention to. vMIx is certainly a good product. I am recommending it to all I come in contact with in South Africa . And also thank you for all the nice new features in 11, too many to mention.

Best Regards

I was asked to update vMixScheduler to vMix v11 - should have been an easy task, but obviously it isn't.

One problem i found:

It seems i can no longer provide my own guid-value when adding a clip?

Code:
api?function=AddInput&Value=video|test.avi&Input=bdd98cd8-c867-45cc-85be-f80bb34ce3c7

This API-call should add the video "test.avi" and set the guid to "bdd98cd8-c867-45cc-85be-f80bb34ce3c7" for further reference. In v10 this works, but in v11 the video is assigned a completely different guid, thus vMixScheduler can't reference the input correctly.

Is there a syntax-change? Or is it a bug? Or even a deliberate design change?
