Hi! I want to know if somebody here has done a homemade battery pack or something similar to use with the spark.
Im using 10 AA batteries 1.2v getting 12v and working well. But want to know your experiences.
Thanks!!
Regards!

get a 12v power pack from Amazon so you know that's not the problem when there's a problem. They can be fairly bulky so you can't really have it all mounted to the camera you'll need a little bag for it, and you can also put the spark in it. Also in the bag put some shiney tinfoil at the bottom so you can easily see the lights are on, this helps if you put the spark in the bag because the switch is on the other side to the connection lights.

You can use a P-Tap battery with adapter to spark as well. Depends on what you use. Ronin has P-Tap. Some Pro cams as well.

I know it's not a battery, but FYI the Spark can be powered over ethernet (PoE) with a PoE adapter/splitter
like https://www.bol.com/nl/p...02-3af/9200000055254940/
this one.
You will need a switch with PoE (15W). The Spark is not PoE by nature, hence the need for a splitter.
