Awesome! Hello everyone, I want to test the Vmix 22 preview, but I have a problem. Does the software with the installed license somehow? Thank you in advance for your answer!

From the first post in this Preview topic: "Updates: If you purchased vMix prior to 1 January 2018, an additional purchase is required to use this beta or a new Trial is possible if you haven't used the Trial in some time. Finally, an edition upgrade (say from HD to 4K) will also include 12 months of free updates." In other words, you might need to pay for the Update ($60) in order to run v22 (beta).

The Kona 5 works similarly to the IO4K Plus, that is to say port 1 is a 4K input port and port 3 is a 4K output port. That means it only supports 1x 4K input or output.
There is OEM firmware available that turns it into a real 4x 4K input card but it is not currently available to the public.

Same for me, but i think the NDI 3.8 is the problem because if you have NDI Tools 3.8 installed, the other software which uses NDI automatically use more resources. And i see this issue on all my computers with NDI 3.8 (1 with 21.0.0.60 and 2 with 22.0.0.42 and another NDI software installed for testing)

There's an audio issue in .42 which I did not had in 38. Everything sounds to slow, like there is a bitrate issue + skips. Like when recording a 48KHz in 44.1 KHz. When I listen to vMix master output all sounds at normal speed. The stream itself sounds to slow and skippy. You can listen here https://www.facebook.com.../2268418186814103/?t=121When people reported the issue I instantly reinstalled .38 and the issue was gone. I'm using VST from waves if that is relevant... UPDATE: I just reinstalled .42 again in order to reproduce the problem, but everything sounds ok now.... Maybe this is a castr issue? My previous stream which I cut a couple of minutes before I started may be in 44.1 KHz. I'll check that later on. Greetings

Hi, For those seeing higher CPU with the latest NDI, can you try the following utility to see if it helps: https://www.vmix.com/download/vMixNDIConfig.zip1. Run the utility 2. Turn off UDP on send and receive and click OK. 3. Restart vMix and any NDI applications If this works, it means UDP is causing the higher CPU usage. UDP has some advantages including multicast support and lower latency, but it may use more CPU usage as a result. Regards, Martin vMix

Question: Does this set UDP usage for vMix only or will it set it for any NDI tool on the PC i.e.Studio Monitor?

This tool enables/disables UDP functionality in NDI globally on the computer, so all NDI apps will follow the settings applied here.

The new Pause on inputs works as expected. It seems to have no effect on vMix Call inputs though. Is that by design?
It would be most helpful if you could pause a vMix call (actually stop data transfer, not just pause the image). Those of us using satellite trucks would be most appreciative!

Hopefully, this 'small task, big gain' request can be incorporated (or already has been?) in the vMix 22 release: the highlight bar in the Instant Replay console is orange, and the checkboxes are red. It is VERY HARD to see now, if a box is/is not checked, when the event is highlighted in orange, since the red-orange combo just does not contrast enough. If check boxes could e.g. be made white, this issue would be nicely resolved. Thanks ! And best of luck with the great new v22.

Unless I'm being stupid (a high possibility) the play/pause shortcut does not seem to work with camera sources.

Hi Martin and Co.,
I've read the entire thread (all six pages) and can't find any information about whether it's "safe" to install the vMix 22 preview on the same computer as v21 is already installed?
In short: Can I have both versions installed on the same time without v22 interfears with v21 which we use in production?
Thanks for a brilliant piece of software.

Simon Testrup LivePro Denmark Hi Simon, I wouldn't want to answer for Martin but I've had 21 and 22 running on the same machine since the Beta came out with no issues. I just made a different install folder and navigated to it when installing 22.
