We record and stream using a Roland VR-3. Quite happy with it. Both the video and audio go into vMix over the same USB (at the same time, I assume) I have the audio delay set a 0 milliseconds for recording but there seems to be a slight sync problem. Streaming is synced but not the recording. Do I still need to delay the audio even if it's coming in at the same time and same source as the video? Thanks in advance.

Yes, try using Audio Delay. Click the Cog Button next to Record from the Main Window to bring up the Recording Setup. Quote:Audio Delay
This sets a delay on the audio input in milliseconds. For example if the audio is earlier than the video by 200ms, type in 200 here.
Try starting at a range of 80-100 milliseconds.

What is puzzling me though is that the stream is in sync and the recording is not while they are both set the same: 0 milliseconds. I'll set the recording audio delay to 80-100 and see what happens.
