Not true, we do 1080i 59.94i MP4's all the time.

My guess is the Nvidia card/drivers since he has NVEC selected.

Hi,

High Profile is not supported on Windows 7. Windows 10 is required.

For interlaced sources, while it is true vMix does send interlaced to the encoder if requested
in the recording settings, all encoders we are aware of that work with vMix (including the NVIDIA hardware encoder)
will deinterlace and record only progressive.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Martin

Thank you Martin and Steven,

I have 3 Panasonic AW H40 SDI (cameras PTZ) and only 1920x1080/50i is accepted with Blackmagic Production 4k (!?).
I use the ffmpeg to solve the problem with H264Hight.
Later, I will update the cameras PTZ to NDI and win 10 to fully use Wmix 4K ;)

Best Regard
Phab

Not true. Mpeg-2 "native" settings does encode interlaced.
Sure.

I use always MPG2 native with interlaced inputs and interlaced outputs (TV use), then I play the record on interlaced machine without problems.

But ONLY with MPG2 windows native encoder, not MPEG2 via FFMPEG.

This is why I was looking for a way to have MPEG2 under Windows10, a few days ago.

Sorry, to clarify I was specifically referring to MP4.
