Hi Fernando,
To run the tests, install vMix 9 over the top of vMix 10 and then when finished install vMix 10 over the top again.
Regards,
Martin vMix

hi martin, did some mp4 recording test on my new amd -A10 win8 machine and noticed some sync drift at the end of the recording. after 2 hours drift isvaprox 10-20 ms. log reports nohing special.
at the start it all is in sync but after some time i notice latency. video and sound is input via hdmi, so is in sync all the time. it mut be somthing in vmix itself.
anybody with similar experience?
cheers stefan

Hi Stefan,
Can you confirm the amount of drift in milliseconds? 10-20ms is less than half a frame, so it would not be noticeable at those levels.

so it is probably more! at the beginning it is ok, but after 5 minutes it is noticable. after 2 hours it does not seem to increase.
is there a way i can measure the drift or the latency. you want me to send you a file. all logs indicate no problem at all.
cheers, stefan

hi martin, just recorded a five minute test and noticed the following: when viewing the complete video all is well. when skipping to the end there is latency.
i am now uploading to youtube to test the result there.
what do you think, something to do with decoding or keyframes within mp4... cheers stefan

seems like it is something in the player. no problems when viewing the file in youtube, even when skipping around.
i have installed a different player to check the recordings and see if this sives better results.
any idea what is causing this behaviour? what will happen if i split ( cut up) the files in different clips. will this be a risk of losing sinc?
greetings stefan

I've noticed if I load a preset, vMix will not load cameras that are in the preset but are not plugged in and turned on when the preset is loaded. This used to work in vMix 9. After I plug the cameras in and turn them on, I have to either close the camera input and readd the camera or restart vMix.

Hy Martin!
First up: Great job with vMix10! Amazing product!
I'm having some trouble with the Web-Interface. It is enabled and the shortcuts are working fine on the machine where vMix is running. The Computer is connected to the router via cable. The other Computer is running on the same network, however it is connected via Wifi. If I enter the Ip-Adress there it does not load the shortcuts.
Is anyone else having the same problem?
Thanks for your help.

There are a number of barriers that could block access, involving your local firewall (in windows), the routers firewall, different ip-spaces for lan/wlan, etc; yet going through it all would clutter this thread. If you open a new thread and describe your network setup more thoroughly i'm sure we can work it out.

Hi Martin.
Found just out that vMix 10.0.0.59 does not save Virtual Inputs created.
Created Virtual Inputs from Logitech C920 webcam succesfully and saved Preset.
When loaded Preset, Virtual Inputs were gone.
Kind regards, Jan

Open up the input properties of the video and take a screenshot of the advanced tab. Might be a 3rd party codec causing problems.
