21.0.0.42
* Added "Custom Multi-Bitrate" dropdown option in streaming destinations.
This allows custom URLs and Stream Keys for each stream without using separate streaming instances for each which may cause problems with some CDNs

Where is this option? Looked for it but can't find it.
Earlier today using 21.0.0.41 and trying to stream to two separate Custom RTMPs, using the same streaming settings including "Hardware encoder" checkbox on, I got an error message when I started the second stream when the first was running. Something like the graphics card had not enough resource to do hardware encoding. Changed second stream to not use hardware encoding, which worked. Updated to 21.0.0.42 and now it works fine streaming when both has hardware encoding on.

on Vmix 21.0.0.42

When adding a Photos input and pointing to a folder on my desktop containing 27 .jpg and .png image files the input shows up as if it contains 54 inputs or exactly double the actual 27 files in the folder (these are 27 uniquely different images and file names). e.g. 21/54 35/54 which shows up under the preview and program windows. The first 27 inputs flip back and forth between the first and second image in the folder then the remaining 27 images or the second half of the slide show play normally as they should. The input should only show 27 files as that is the number of files in the folder.

We’re the files copied from a Mac ?? In Windows explorer Set it to show hidden files and you will see a load of Mac preview files that can be deleted

NOT A BUG, just a weird Mac thing.

such a simple fix but not so apparent if you don't know what your looking for.

Thanks for the great software Martin. I own 8 licenses and love it.

It is worth noting that this functionality only works with Black Magic Desktop Video 10.10. I was on 10.9 and the alpha channel was not being output. Might be worth adding the minimum requirement to the guide.

Just updated to 21.0.0.42.

Now I get a "Warning: GPU Overloaded" message on the bottom of the screen, didn't have this error with previous version (20.x.x.x).

When I switch from Nvidia GTX960M to the build in Intel 530 the error is gone...

Any solution/setting I can check to get rid of this warning?

21.0.0.41 Works great, no issues with my workflow - Thank you.

upgrade to 21.0.0.42
issue:
If there is no camera input signal on a active SDI input, the statistics window / source dropped column now shows 60 dropped frame per second and counting.
with all previous versions, it would show "o" dropped frames. Anyone else notice? Is this a bug or new feature?

Decklink quad2 - same issues with BM driver 10.9.5 and 10.10
windows 10 - updated
Nvidia driver - updated

I have noticed that on SDI/Camera inputs that don't have camera connected show dropped frames, this should be zero if not connected.

Yes, this is actually a bug fix.
With Blackmagic drivers, it would report receiving a frame even if there was no signal connected.
Now it does not, which is more accurate and useful for diagnosing no signal issues.

I am seeing dropped frames as well on Blackmagic Design cards when there is no camera signal. I have BMD driver 10.10 and vMix 21.0.0.44 installed.

Anyone having vMix crash when clicking on the gear icon next to record? This has been happening to us frequently in vMix 21. We set the drive to not sleep but when we click on that gear icon vMix just crashes. If we simply hit record and not the gear icon it records like normal.

I have not seen this happen on my install of 21. Does it do it with a blank preset?

Sounds like a bad codec. To find out the cause:

1. Right click the Start Menu and select Event Viewer
2. From the left hand panel, open Windows Logs and then click on Application
3. From the list, find the entry for "Application Error" that mentions vMix64.exe in the description when clicking on it.
4. In the description it will note the .dll file of the codec causing the issue.

I have had that issue in previous versions if go to make a change by clicking on the cog wheel after say about 5 - 10mins of having a large preset open. If I need to make a change to recording name for example and click the cog wheel vmix can crash. when I first open Vmix it is fine so have been doing that as first thing to do after opening preset. Clicking recording is always ok. But this is random
so have been able to pin point why and doesn't seem to be a widely reported problem that I'm aware of and has improved with updates. Martin may be able to help. Probably conflicting with something and have had the issue on my laptop and pc.

I can not remember getting such in any of my installs, but what I get, is drop frames before record...when I click on 'Record', I get sometimes 7 frames, sometimes 1 sometimes as much as 30 frames dropped....if I stop and start again, most times I do not get any drop frames, but since I updated, I find that if I stop recording after a good session, when I restart, I get endless dropped frames, in clusters of 10, 15, even as much as 33 frames at a time, and I am forced to restart vMix...this will happen often, sometimes I have to do a reboot of the system to get a good recording...and this is only since I upgraded to ver. 21.....never happened before, yes, I would get a 1 frame sometimes, and I credited that to the HD, as I use a laptop, and those drives do not spin very fast....but this high drop frames since upgrade, is killing me...

PrepSpin,

Might be best to drop us an email to info@vmix.com.au for some further investigation.
It is quite strange, as we have not made any changes to the recording feature since vMix 20
