hello
is it possible to make a transition on data-source change

lets say we have a lower-third with data-source , if we select another row from data-source then the text in the lower-third will change , can it change via transition ??

how that is possible

Depends on what you define as a transition in this case like title disapearing first and reapearing (overlay) with new info or while title is displayed the info being animated .

The First i am not aware of a title being able to have a transition(overlay) in the vMix sense triggered from within the same title so external app dealing with changes in data (and not use vMix datasources perse) and let that trigger the transition or in the latter case have some hidden textblocks (to catch a change first) related to your datasources trigger an animation before its displayed also in your "real" textblock

But if you had searched the forum ("title animation data change" for example) you would have found this has been asked before and i believe with demos on different approaches discussed

strange as when i search vMix forum on "title animation data change" i find topics like :

Data source trigger?
