Hi, I tried to install the RTW Loudness tools plugin. Then it asked for my licence data and so I filled in. I think I did not make a mistake as I copied the data from the clipboard, but the data was not accepted. After that the attached error popped up saying that vMix was not able to initialize the plugin. I tries again after reboot but vMix keep saying "able to initialize". How can I reset and try again? I sent my error report by the way. petervk attached the following image(s): screenshot.png (73kb) downloaded 2 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

ask wrote:Quick check..is it a VST3 or VST2 plugin? It's a VST3 plugin. I know that vMix only supports VST3. It's not that the plugin does not run at all. It just broke after it did not accept my licence credentials. Now I just want to start all over but re-installation did not help. Thanks, Peter.

Still getting that annoying "cannot initialize" error. The stand alone loudness app works fine but just the plugin in vMix sucks. Is there a way to cleanup plugin stuff in vMix?
Thanks, Peter.

Contact this plugin editor support ! It's not a vMix issue you're having.
Did you check there is an un-installer ?

I am having the exact same issue but with the Waves NS1 plugin. Other plugins from the Red suite work fine so it is not Vmix. I have also uninstalled and deleted all traces of the waves plugin on my C drive but I still can't make it work. I have 2 users on the same PC could that be the issue? I have found the solution after digging a bit deeper into the dark corners of the internet. This worked for me on the first try... make sure you log out from other accounts on the same laptop/pc Capture.PNG (41kb) downloaded 3 time(s).

MrKneeland Man! you are an absolute legend. I had wasted the last 3 days of my life trying to find a solution for this issue. I surfed the whole internet, deep web and even I contacted Martin and nothing!. I was working in a show at home for 2 days and on show day vMix did not want to open my preset because of the issue with Waves plugins. Stress level 10 on a pretty simple show.
BTW I noticed the microsoft visual C++ packages was updated 4 days a go in my computer so again, is a windows update issue I owe you a case of beers!
Thanks!
Cris
