Really interesting to see the number of requests for customisation of the multi view output to display more inputs, virtual inputs grouped with original input and more flexible input labelling. It is currently a bit rigid. Another issue that has been raised is due to the shear interest vMix has generated further up the broadcast food chain with traditional broadcasters who are starting to love vMix. They instinctively look for a traditional program and preset bus interface with configurable aux outputs like Tricaster and others. The frustration is really well summed up by Rob Baynard at Ready Take Live Does vMix want to break away from the OBS, Wirecast, XSPLIT camp and appeal more to the slightly larger production crew? Will 2018 be the year that we see a little more development on UI & UX and slightly less on amazing new features so that vMix appeals more to this broadcast culture. Technically vMix has everything under the hood necessary to do this and for the sake of some UI tweaks it could enjoy an even larger customer base. With the competition's feature sets trailing so far behind, now might be a good time to look at this?? vMix is amazing I have made two fantastic broadcasts for the NHS and the Council for Disabled Children here in the UK. Keep up the good work! Mark fellowproductions.com

Hi Mark,
We are always interested in hearing feedback on how we can make vMix better. What I would suggest though is you come up with a list of specific features or improvements you would like to see and submit them as individual feature requests. (or search the feature requests to see if they have already been submitted!)
We are also interested in hearing how you think the feature or change might work, and what UI elements you think it needs. Try to focus on small incremental suggestions rather than wholesale changes, as these are less likely to be considered.
One factor that drives vMix development is how we can make complex production tasks simple and easy.
I understand the desire from many to make vMix look or work more like a traditional switcher, but the better approach to take is to first work out what you want to achieve, as I am sure we can implement it in vMix in a much easier way to the benefit of the whole community, broadcasters and streamers alike!
Regards,
Martin vMix
