I have a Nvidia GT1030 card with 2gb ram. I am testing vmix currently and pretty sure I am going to purchase the HD version. Just wondering if I need to upgrade to perhaps a GTX1050?

I am using a C920 webcam and a Behringer Q802 Mixer for audio.

The Computer is HP Elite Desk I7 4790@ 3.60gh
16GB Memory
Windows 10
Nvidia GT1030 2GB

Virtually no load when streaming but I am also getting an odd video glitch during the live broadcast which I have not began troubleshooting other than Upgrading the Nvidia drivers today to 390.65

I am not familiar with that error, but Nvidia runs some processes in the background called Shadowplay, if you disable those background processes it frees up a lot of GPU power in vmix. I would dig through your running processes and remove anything related to Nvidia Share / Shadowplay. This may not be your main problem, but I was receiving high render times as well as frame skips before I removed those processes.

I will check that but I did not install the Geforce Experience software. I may do a fresh install of Vmix and the Nvidia driver, or see if I can swap out the graphics card. I am on the trial version is there any limitations on Hardware rendering on the trial version?

No the trial should be the Full working PRO version. If you didn't install GeForce Experience, you shouldn't have to worry about the background processes. I believe vMix recommends the 1050 rather than 1030. But I run with a 970 and it does just fine... with just a webcam and mixer, I would think things should work with your setup.

GT1030 does not support NVENC

This is straight from the Nvidia Developers forum. Could this be my problem?

Replace with an EVGA GTX1050 and now I get no issues with Hardware rendering.
