Also interested in seeing if there have been any updates on this. The StreamDeck would be perfect for our setup.

The StreamDeck is a great concept, though it does not work well with vMix. VMix does not support the Modifier keys at the moment, so ALT Ctrl and Shift for the StreamDeck are out of the question. Unlike the reliable ASCii keyboard interfacing to vMix, the StreamDeck sometimes will trigger both on the KeyDown & KeyUp command, thereby double actioning the command to switch. Also, AutoRepeat may a problem if the User holds the button down to long, as this cannot be disabled in their software. Even when using the ASCii2Midi software application, with the KeyUp event and AutoRepeat disabled at the low level interrupt level, the StreamDeck reset those LL_Keyboard requests when the application started. Shame really, as the StreamDeck has a lot of promise. Some thoughts for consideration.

I also can't wait to see what these guys do with their driver/interface. In the meantime, I did a simple one if anyone wants to check it out. I am not a programmer, so the code is ugly and you can't customize it or anything yet (unless you want to change the icons or modify the code). I actually just used the basic design that Sondrey had posted because I liked the way it looked. https://github.com/npowless/StreamDeckVMixnatep attached the following image(s): streamdeck.jpg (106kb) downloaded 1 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Any updates on this? I'd love to see this fully functional with vMix!

They've said that they may be working on an SDK, but it's going to be a while if it ever happens.

I am currently using Stream Deck with vMix and it works well, it does have some limitations, but is still great in my opinion. You can set some crazy complacated as well as very simple shortcuts in vMix and then use the Hotkey and Hotkey Switch option to map them on the Stream Deck. Its not very difficult to set up and so far it has been a big help for me to control everything without having to use the trackpad (mouse) The one thing that can be an issue is if you use the PC for another tasks that take you off of the vMix app none of the commands will work (no different than keyboard shortcuts that are used) For the many spent on the vMix program the $150 was well worth the price. Check out my Feature Request for Application Global Shortcuts and consider if you think it's worth a +1.

a good year later: is there any chance to use / buy this software? It would infinitely improve the Stream Deck over the simple Switching it provides out of the box.
