Hi,
I have moved this to a separate thread. Could you please upload the quicktime file so I can test?
What you are looking for is called "Seamless looping" which is not supported by QuickTime itself. vMix does its best to loop as fast as possible, but some video formats work better than others.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Martin wants you to upload the physical quicktime file you used for the loop. So he can test it for you. You can use a file sharing service such as http://mediafire.com for this. Best Regards, Wayne Hartmann

Indeed there does seem to be a looping issue with MOV's Martin. However there are also issues with the loop files themselves as well. Please see my video here I'll show you a fix you can use in the mean time until this gets sorted. Best Regards, Wayne Hartmann

Hi,
This is actually a limitation of QuickTime itself as when the "StartMovie" command is sent to QuickTime it doesn't actually start playback for a couple of frames.
For small animations, the best option for seamless looping is to export the video as an "Image Sequence" which most video editors support. If that is not possible then the next best format is an AVI encoded using a codec such as MJPEG.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Quote:D3DERR OUT OF VIDEO MEMORY. -2005532292. Sounds to me like a physical limitation of your hardware. What graphics card / chipset are you using?

Nay, that gfx card should be well suited for your needs; so this error comes from elsewhere.

Hi,
The error will occur under the 32bit version of vMix and the image sequence is more than around 100 HD frames. Try the 64bit version of vMix which has access to far more memory.

Martin vMix

Image Sequence is intended to replace any quicktime loop files you have. Any other videos should be converted from quicktime to another format such as MP4.
These are limitations of QuickTime so there isn't much I can do about it.

As previously mentioned, to use alpha I recommend the 64bit version of vMix with image sequences.
