Title pretty much explains it all.

I have a GH5 which I want to use for 4k60 + chromakey, and I'm currently figuring out the best possible capture method for it.

It doesnt matter if its HDMI or SDI, as long as it supports "full power"

thanks,

RS

I asked vMix to test the Magewell card about this here: https://forums.vmix.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=11963. Hopefully they can get around to it at some point.

The Magewell Pro Capture HDMI 4K Plus supports the HDMI v2.0 signal standard, which includes 4K60p (obviously), but not every single permutation of colour sampling (4:2:2, 4:2:0, etc) and bit depth (8-bit, 10-bit, etc). I have used it with vMix, and done tests to check it's OK at 4K60p with the output from a graphics card (because I don't have a 4K60p camera).

I had come to the same conclusion... also the magewell 4k60..

End of the day just feels risky to try it "blind"

Gonna stick with the 4k30 mini recorder until a decent solution is proven.
