When trying to add a source folder of photos I get the below error. I have tried 32 and 64 bit vMix 18 (latest) and vMix 19. Every single one gets the same error. What could the issue be?

Hi

this is a known bug with nVidia drivers on laptops.

Search "Attempted to read or write protected memory" in the forum you will find many topics about this issue and solutions for it.

Interesting.. Though I don't have an NVidia graphics card in the computer (running the Intel HD graphics 520) I tried the steps I found.
Tried running only on the laptop itself with no external monitors - same issue
Disabled FlipX entirely - same issue

I can open the program just fine, I simply can't add photos as a slideshow.

I've had no such problem doing that same thing. My vMix system has an older AMD Radeon card.

What size & format are the images?

Also, I never drag & drop a folder. I navigate into the folder and add all of its contents.
