Thanks. Now to figure out how the video progress bar works on win10, cause you can drag the slider around, and it seems to bork up the app, and doesn't recognize the highlighted scene, especially when a event is deleted.
I'm running this on Windows 10 Professional, by the way.

Thank yo so much, A definite step in the right direction.
Trimming clips is a bit difficult when they're long clips. Need to be able to make fine adjustments to in and out points.
Also I noticed when a assets is finished it remains in vMix library and is not closed so they tend to really fill up the screen.
It would be great if the Add Command properties panel could have the commands categorized similar to vMix Select function panel so we don't have to search the entire list.
I wasn't able to set trim in and out point manually in the properties panel for video assets.
It would be nice if the video would not start playing when added to list or have a option not to.
I don't know how far you plan on taking vTask but I can see a real future if you do.
Thank you for your hard work

THANKS.

I have been using vTask for just about 5 hours and it is awesome.
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for to do a new and improved 'Moviefest'.
A friend years ago had a Moviefest, Hey Phil if you ever read this, he had wired the house with Coax and would play to all the TV's on Channel 3 the movies in the Festival. Hence Moviefest and each had a theme, I wrote about them in my blog post, http://www.richshumaker....film-fest-dbmc-festival/

I will be setting up my new and improved MovieFest soon and I will create something to let everyone know about it.

Tomorrow I will be testing some more and do a 'live' stream.
I did 18 Document Don't Create Live Daily Wrap Up Shows using vMix and now I am going to play them back to back and add some 'extras'.
This takes 18 individual 3 to 5 minutes shows and makes a 2 hour compilation.
I will be adding bonus videos I have not shown anyone yet.

During the show it would be cool to do Overlays with Titles to THANK people in real time that might be donating or chatting during the 'live' event.
Also I am trying to figure out how I could 'Pop Up' in an overlay during the show and say HI and Thank everyone that is checking it out.

Thank you very much for making this and as always THANKS vMix for the AWESOME SOFTWARE.

Hi

Although I haven't tried vTask yet but only watched the tutorial videos and followed first users experiments reporting on facebook, I would like to suggest one thing that is very important to my eyes.

So far, vTask doesn't seem to support network operation, that is to say being able to run on a remote computer using media files located anywhere on the network.

- There is a setting parameter for vMix host IP address, but users report it is complaining of losing connection unless it runs on the same PC as vMix.
- The media files show a local path on the host vTask is used. This path is not correct as of vMix host.
- I suggested a user to create shared folders that would be the same on both PCs, but it doesn't seem to work anyway.
- It doesn't seem to support UNC paths at all which vMix does

I believe such a playout solution should be able to run with a multitier (or at least a 3 tier) architecture.
For example:
- vMix is PC1
- vTask is PC2
- Media files are stored on a server or a NAS or a SAN or even multiple ones.

This would make vTask a professional solution for playout.

Best regards
Guillaume
