vMix 2X Preview (20.0.0.20 Beta) is here!

Please Note: This is a preview release for those who like to live on the edge! There will still be some bugs, so it is not recommended for production use.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, please report any bugs or issues in this thread.

Supports also being added as an input for use in the MultiView Output and also as an NDI output.

* vMix Call: Audio and Video sources can now be changed independently at any time from the right click menu.
Note that CPU usage will increase if each caller has a different video source.

* Added VISCA Over IP PTZ support for newer Sony SRG-360 series cameras.
* Improved performance of Magewell Capture Cards that support 4K60.
* Low Latency option added to vMix Call input. This will disable the buffer that is used to ensure smooth video
during network congestion and should only be used where a high bandwidth connection is assured.

Maybe it's the OCD in me but now the clock box is an option to display, should not the items above it now be centred rather than left justified? Sorry, but I thought I would have grown out this infliction by now!!

I believe the gap after the left justified button should be filled by the audio meter when it is active.

Nope, because the space to the right is used for the master audio level meter. Throw in some audio and you will see...

Great job as always Martin.

I was curious what the production clock looked like. I played with a few settings.

And now it's constantly flashing.

Here's an example:

(I don't know why it recorded in slow motion, but you get the idea)

I wonder if it's a graphics card/performance issue on my not so great pc here.

Hello
First congratulate the team of vmix with this new creation that is excellent.
I will give the results of the first tests carried out so far.

1.- At the moment of using a virtual set with NDI source incorporated as screen, NDI audio is freez, stutters. (I used 1 video input, 1 virtual set and 1 NDI input)
2.- After a time of use (approximately 5 minutes) the video of all the previews of all the entries, is cut (freez), only the preview of the windows of 208x156. In preview and master output works well.
3.- There is a flashing of the entire vmix interface from time to time.

And now it's not doing it anymore.

Sorry, that's not too helpful.

Production Clock - Possible Bug

Production Clock --> Type = Event, Precision = Minutes --> Minutes & Seconds are displayed

Production Clock --> Type = Event, Precision = Seconds --> Minutes & Seconds & Fractions are displayed

Production Clock --> Type = Event, Precision = Fractions --> Minutes & Seconds & Fractions are displayed

Tested on 2 PC's with same result.

Hi Tom,

For countdown timers, it will show seconds and fractions when there is space available.
So in the final minutes it will show seconds, in the final seconds it will show fractions!

Martin

For those having flashing and/or delay issues with the clock, could you confirm the graphics card installed?
I suspect the input previews / output can be slightly faster as they use the graphics card directly, while the clock underneath the transitions
is a UI control and updates via Windows.

Martin

Do the extra 2 outputs support output via SDI? It appears there are 4 outputs now, but only 2 available for external/SDI?

Was hoping to have 4 external SDI outputs via Decklink Duo 2. Am I missing something?

Ahh, that's what 'High input performance mode' means.. I was reading it as setting your input performance to high and wondering how that would be possible :/
