I am trying to create a countdown to a specific date/time from within vMix. I do not code, and I believe this requires xaml capabilities, which I don't have. That gave me the idea that someone might be able to create a plugin or converter that would allow the user to tell it what point in time they want a countdown to, then the plugin would create the xaml code to use in vMix
In my case, I'm trying to create a countdown in Days:hours:minutes:seconds to 7 pm on August 25th, to promote when we begin our high school football coverage.

Hi Jim

why don't you simply use a countdown script that we can find on the web. Most of them are very easy to use and integrate into vMix like any other webpage via the webbrowser input.

For example:
https://countingdownto.c...-s-event-countdown-clock
that you can edit to your needs from the actions button on the left. Just unpublish, edit and re-publish

or

https://www.w3schools.co...name=tryhow_js_countdown
just have to enter the date and time you wish, run the example code. When satisfied, copy and paste the left code to a text file that you name countdown.html anywhere on your computer. Opening this file in a browser will show your countdown.

Hope this helps
Guillaume

Hi Lino

I think vMix 2x will integrate 2 production clocks in the UI, not really what Jim's talking about here.

Jim,

This is the code I've found to do it in vMIx:

{0:7 July 2017 12:00 AM|HH:mm:ss}

Kind regards,
Rudy
