I created another input using a DVD. I also have two other capture devises (web cams). I am getting the audio from the web cams, but I still can not hear any audio coming from the DVD (internal player).

Well, it seems to have fixed not being able to hear the input, but I still do not seem to be capturing the audio from any of the video (dvd, mpeg) sources - other than the web cams. Still confused.

In the vMix settings under Decoders set MPEG Audio to AC3Filter, this should fix the audio from DVD sources.

That has already been done. I can still hear all audio sources in the mixer, but I still cannot capture the audio - specifically from any dvd or video file. On the main settings > Audio > -- which renderer should I be using? I have 5 options that show: 1 - Speakers 2 - Cyberlink Audio 3 - Default Direct Sound 4 - Default WaveOut 5 - DirectSound: Speakers

Don't know if this matters (I think it may, though), but under the audio options for the record settings, my webcams are the only options. There is not sound card or wave option.

If there is no Wave or Stereo Mix option under the recording settings than your sound card may not support recording in that way. You can double check this from the Control Panel:
1. Open Control Panel. 2. Go to Sound. 3. Under the Recording tab right click anywhere and click "Show Disabled Devices"
There should now be an option for Wave or "Stereo Mix" you can enable and use in vMix.
