Is it possible to have 2 versions of VMix on the same computer? I have one TV Talk show host that uses his laptop for power point and it is that old that I cannot use the desktop capture from version 7. I currently am using version 6 with no problems but like the features in the newest version. Maybe there is another way to capture the screen from his laptop? Thanks for your help.

Hi

yes it's possible. Go to settings, tick show advanced settings options, go to options and tick allow multiple instances

I only want to use 1 version at a time. When Tom has his show, I need to use VMix 16 (I said 6 and meant 16, also said 7 and meant 17)for his show and want to use VMix 17 or greater for the rest of the shows. Sorry, needed to clarify that.

OK. Then you can install another previous version in another directory

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if I could do it or not.
