I am at a lost... I have installed the drivers and made sure that my webcam Logitech c900 is still in working order.

Why is the video image not showing up in my Vmix 19 timeline? It does show up in Vmix and I can add it as a camera input.

I have the lastest Vmix 19 version and my computer is the Asus ROG (The recommended laptop by Vmix)

And no I did not update my Windows 10 - to Windows Creator.

Just need to get a solution very fast. Thank You

Hi

as of v19, webcams now use MJPEG as the default video format. Try to change this setting when adding this webcam as an input.

C900?
Are you sure of that model number? I don't recall that model.
I have c910, c920, c925e, c935e, and Brio models.
I might also have an old c9000 around somewhere.

Hello, I tried to change the settings as you suggested, but none of the other setting worked.

I have a c920 too. It works perfectly.

Are you sure it works with another player? VLC for example...

Maybe you have another application using the webcam at the same time. Make sure it is not in use with another software when you want to use it in vMix.

Maybe you have an incorrect setting in the Logitech control panel. Try to reset everything to default.

PS : edit the title of this topic to indicate the correct webcam reference, please.

No other application or software is using the webcam
And my settings are correct in the Logitech Control Panel

I have tried various setting in Vmix as well and to no avail. The webcam image does not show.

Did you try with another application like I suggested?
Options are VLC, OBS, SplitCam, FMLE, etc...

Try the C920 in a different USB port (and reboot the PC).
Try the C920 on a different PC. Working there?
Make sure the Logitech software does not load on boot.
Check if there are any BIOS or other updates for the ASUS ROG laptop. Update all as needed.

Hope this helps.

Yes, I did and not sure why, but the webcam did not work. with Vmix via those options. The webcam does work with the other software programs, but just not through Vmix.
