Stinger transition with audio

I'd like to build a stinger transition with audio. Do you think it's possible? I know the stinger is an image sequence so it could be impossible to assign an audio. What do you think about? (I know that DWAM will say: "use API" eheheheheh but as he knows I don't know API programming language). Do you think there is a different way?

[Edit] Actually no, triggering audio won't work on a stinger.
What you can do is set the audiofile as a multiview source for your image sequence input. This works, I just tried.

The "Stinger" can be any video source (i.e. with audio), although it is smoother (consistent) when using an image sequence. The trick to adding audio to an Image Sequence is to use the "Multiview" feature and add the audio as an oveverlay. Hope that helps some.

Yes Jens, I guess we were writing at the same time!
Trigger method doesn't work for a stinger as it is not considered as a "regular" input, thus "OnTransitionIn" or "OnOverlayIn" conditions are not effective.

Just found this in an old topic. From Martin himself... Not tested Quote:There is some undocumented support for sounds with image sequences that I didn't have time to add to the UI in 16. If you create a wav or mp3 file with the same name as the first image it will be loaded and used automatically.
So if image001.png is the first image set the sound to be image001.png.wav

The audio file must be present in the same folder of the image sequence BEFORE to add a stinger. If you add the stinger and after that you add the music to the folder, it doesn't work. Actually there is a problem: if you have a music longer than the image sequence, it goes on even after the transition (with multiview method this not happens). So, I think that the better method to add music to a stinger is the multiview.

Normally when you create a stinger, the audio is chosen on purpose and has the same duration as the sequence so it doesn't matter, but yes the multiview solution solves this in case you use test material. However it also cuts audio abruptly when the sequence ends, so it is not nice and smooth as stinger should be.

A simple swoosh WAV that is timed with the stinger starts in the middle of the audio and at other times does not play at all. Using the file renaming method words perfectly. It is also useful when playing a swoosh for the audio to extend past the stinger transition (which is a "feature" of using this method).
