vMix support has determined I need to reinstall Windows to resolve this issue.

I'm in the process of doing a UPGRADE, in effect leaving Windows and programs I have installed in place but replacing the operating system.

I'll let you know how it goes.

... therfore you should make back-up of your system regulary. I use Easus Todo Backup (free version) to back-up the system after each update of windows. You need some space, but if for a reason Windows gets corrupt you can restore your system in minutes!

Good Luck...

Click the send error report button, after that send vmix support an email with your registration key, so they can find the error report you sent and help you with the problem.

Quick update.

The problem seems to have something to do with account corruption.

I logged in as administrator and I am able to run vMix without error.

Both accounts have administrator access, that's why I'm leaning to the account corruption issue.

Now I need to see if there is a way I can repair my account. Worse case I'll have to create a new one.
