Thanks for the video. I have identified the bug and will release a fix shortly.
In the meantime as a workaround you can go to the Setup recording window and click OK before each new wmv file.
This will reset the audio timings and prevent the bug from affecting the audio.

Thanks,

Martin

As the bug was relatively easy to fix, i've updated the vMix 8 download in this thread to 8.0.0.53.
Fixes in this release:

* Fixed issue where audio delay would increase over multiple recordings.
* Added support for the YV12 format used by some new capture devices

Hi Martin, Have just returned from another of my dart streaming sessions...Just to say All went well, Vmix was solid as ever, and all my records were spot on with no issues.

Did wonder one thing, is there a command built into the red close X, to stop any records, external streams before closing...so that accidentally closing vmix before stopping a record doesn't corrupt the file??/ Just a thought, as i'm always eager to switch off and head to the bar after a Stream :-)

Hi John,

vMix will stop all recordings correctly automatically if you close the program using the X button.

Hello There,
I am new to the forum, I tried to search for answer to my question so as not to repeat if it was already asked but I could fine anything. I am trying vMix after using Vidblaster for about a year. A friend of mine told me about vMix, and I have to say that this is the best software that I ever used for what I do. I used to combined many software to get the result that vMix is providing. I am now streaming HD all the time thanks for vMix and Xsplit. I saw in the new features that it was possible to add an m3u file to "list" but I created a playist file as m3u and tried add to "list" vMix does not do anything, it does not add the file at all. So I wanted to know if there is something else I need to do to make it work. I am ready to purchase to pro version, just need help this issue now
Thank you all in advance!

Hi,

vMix currently supports m3u files that contain full filenames. For example: c:\music\item1.mp3 instead of just item1.mp3
This will be improved in a future release, but for now make sure full paths are included in each line.

Martin
