It would be extremely helpful to be able to duplicate inputs faster using right mouse-clicks (just like Wirecast) especially for the title inputs. This would help in creating new text titles on the fly at short notice during a live event.

Hi Pesi

All inputs can be duplicated in 3 clicks max:
1 click on input gear icon
2 go first tab called General (if not already on it)
3 click create virtual input

You can create several duplicates in advance if you think you might need them

BTW regarding titles, if you can use duplicates (same xaml), I guess you should also consider using the "title preset" feature which allow to enter different values as a list of titles that you can then select with a single right-click.
Also you can use simple CSV files or data source to ingest values in your titles which is very quick.

Besides the web controller also allows to add titles on the fly...

That's very true (and quick, thanks) but to be able to edit the text on those title dupes does not seem possible(?) - and would take much more doing ?

If it's the same xaml title, you don't need to duplicate them, use "presets" instead

Quote:
Title Presets

Click the + button to save the text from all the elements in the title as a preset.
This preset can be selected by right clicking the input in the main vMix window to recall these values at any time.

Title Presets can be Imported and Exported in CSV format using the Import and Export buttons

No the titles would be different - e.g. a new presenter being suddenly announced without warning.

That's exactly what I'm talking about

Once you have a lowerthird title for talents you can use the same for 1000 people if you need and select the right one with a single right click... Check carefully the doc and experiment... Use the + icon in title editor to add a name... You'll see how simple and powerful it is...
