Hi,

we are running Vmix on a:

i7 6800k
GTX1070
Windows 10
16 Go RAM
Sound we tried Rolad Quad, Focuriste 6i6
Blackmagic Quad 2
Vmix 4K pro

The PC has no other application except chrome and the blackmagic program installed

Our lives are in 1080 59.94p

We are experiencing few 1 to 2 seconds silences every few minutes, every thing is random (duration of silence, recuring time etc..)
On the windows record panel the sound still appear, but on VMix it keeps cutting down. Changing the sound capture card doesn't change the fact we are getting thoses silences.

It not a lag of the system, wich runs fine during the cuts.

Any idea?

Regards

Salut presque Voisin

There are many issues with audio with X99 motherboards.
You can check this topic for more information directly from Martin Sinclair regarding the use of these motherboards with vMix but also more generally the issues encountered by audio professionals.

At the moment, it is recomended to avoid X99 chipset but you might find useful tips or settings that might work for you
