Hiya Guys, I am trying to solve my problems where my Sony HDV-1000E is not playing in vMix. The device is recognised in vMix but the video just is not showing. The same device works well in FMLE. So, I am trying to check each component in turn.
Is anyone using a USB A/V Capture device that works well in vMix that has component, composite, S-Video or firewire input options please?
As always, Many Thanks in advance Always happy to reciprocate the kindness
Cheers

Hi! I use an Encore firewire capture card. ENCORESince yesterday, without problems, with two cameras. Now i have an issue but i'm not sure if it's a problem of the camera or the wire (or the board).... Regards!!

hi guztavo, for stability and performance reasons, is not recommended to use 2 firewire sources on the same card, it can cause issues or bad functions. the better way for more than one firewire source is one firewire card for each source. regards, melody www.espiritosanto.cc

I have got a Honestech RCA/USB converter, and it works perfectly. It comes with all Honestech products under the 'Video & Graphics' section of their website.
