Hiya Guys,
I am trying to solve my problems where my Sony HDV-1000E is not playing in vMix. The device is recognised in vMix but the video just is not showing. The same device works well in FMLE. So, I am trying to check each component in turn.

Is anyone using a USB A/V Capture device that works well in vMix that has component, composite, S-Video or firewire input options please?

As always, Many Thanks in advance
Always happy to reciprocate the kindness

Cheers

Hi!

I use an Encore firewire capture card.
ENCORE

Since yesterday, without problems, with two cameras. Now i have an issue but i'm not sure if it's a problem of the camera or the wire (or the board)....
Regards!!

hi guztavo,

for stability and performance reasons, is not recommended to use 2 firewire sources on the same card, it can cause issues or bad functions. the better way for more than one firewire source is one firewire card for each source.

I have got a Honestech RCA/USB converter, and it works perfectly. It comes with all Honestech products under the 'Video & Graphics' section of their website.
