Did you check the README file?

1. Make sure you have JRE 1.8.0_77 x64 or higher installed
2. Make sure you have VLC x64 installed
3. Extract vMixTask and run vMixTask.exe

Yes sure
I have JRE 8.0_102
I have VLC x64

Is your JRE 64bit?

I installed VLC 64 bit and latest JRE but vMixTask is always stuck at Splash Screen and the only way to close it is to Reboot. I am Running Win 10 64 bit.

Any Suggestions?

Pls check if your latest JRE is 64bit and also there is no need to reboot if it get stuck
just go to task manager and end the Java Processes

Seems that in order to work, everything must be on C:\ ... I installed Vmix on D:\ and all my media files are on D:\ and I can't make it work.

In another computer where everything (Vmix, media, VLC and Java JRE) was on C:\ worked fine.

Media files can can be anywhere, but VLC 64bit and JRE 64bit must be on C:

I had to reinstall JRE and now it is working. Is there anyway to start/stop preview video when playing in bottom window? The potential is great for my use, especially if it is possible to break a Programme to insert Advertising. If video is 1 hour, I would like to interrupt playout to insert Promos or Advertising at specific points in the Playback.

Am Happy its working now
will introduce a mute button for preview but for now the workaround is to select any TAG in your list. this should stop the playback
am currently working on trim in and trim out which should solve your issue of inserting promos between a long file.
thank you.

Great potential vfxblend. You might also want to add a copy function for an item already in the Playlist so it can be used multiple times (Promos, Ads etc.). It would also be nice if they list order would allow dragging files within the list for reordering.

Stability so far has been good.

Hi, Did you upload the tutorial? If so where?

Also would it be possible to add a check for the JRE and VLC 64 bit versions at startup? At the moment the program simply hangs without any indication of what is missing.
