I have searched the forum but no luck in finding an answer to my situation.

I would like to send 3 streams at the same time. 2 identical encodings to a primary and a backup/secondary mount point at our CDN. 1 encoded with different bitrate than the first 2.

As I see it, the bottom part of the Streaming Settings are static for all 3 destinations. How can I differentiate the quality for different destinations?

We only stream to our CDN, not to Facebook, Periscope, Twitch, Ustream etc. Plain and simple RTMP.

It will add a 1, 2 and 3 to the end of the streamnames.

So if your stream is rtmp://someserver.net/live/stream

it will become:

rtmp://someserver.net/live/stream1
rtmp://someserver.net/live/stream2
rtmp://someserver.net/live/stream3

What about using EXTERNAL in VMIX and capture the output with FMLE or OBS.

You can then define Stream settings as you like and send it via rtmp.

You can even open several instances of FMLE and/or OBS to differnentiate the quality but beware the CPU Usage.

Hope I could help.

Hi Marc

I will definitely try out your suggestion. CPU usage should not be an issue. It's quite a powerful PC we're running on.
