sorry but i have to insist on this......
another competitor already has it using a plugin adapter:
" Master VST audio plugin support trough Acon Digital Media Chainer plugin. You can use any VST plugin filter, for example VST audio limiters and compressors "
Please guys..... Please !!
Cheers,

+100 There is probably not a feature I could dream of that would be more desirable than vst plugin support. We used to use 8 or more broadcast plugins for audio including Waves MaxxVolume which boosts volume huge without compressing the top end. We used to use Virtual Audio Stream to add plugins but it became a bit of a hastle due to making sure it was open and didn't get closed. http://ddmf.eu/virtual-audio-stream/

+1 for vst support, it makes life easier afterwards: no more mastering of audio :)

PFBM,
this sounds something like multicorder request i made in the past. that took so much time to implement, but in fact vMix was the first software video mixer on the market with that feature, "others" came along the way behind vMix with similar features.
in other side, i understand when the admin wait a little bit to implement some features. there are some important things envolved like feature itself complexity, software stability/compatibility running that feature, feature license, interested users (the most important in some cases)... to me personaly, VST support is not really a "need", but i can understand your "need"... and new potential users "needs".
the reason i searched for a software like vMix, was because i had "needs" and not the solution, this could be the dilemma of so many people. so i founded vMix, in his early years, and i saw so much potential on it... even vMix was not working exactly as i expected, i started to help Martin on improving his software, giving my sugestions as other users did. now we have a new diferent vMix, more stable, more eficient, more anything you imagine.
i hope this feature can be implemented to support other users needs, as it support my needs all this time.
cheers

And maybe external hardware plugins also,I would like to see more output routing options ,cause then u can mix audio in another program, that's what I'm doing now,I run the audio in to a software mixing program first then into vmix

Well most productions use external stuff to mix audio ,mostly digital mixers...I use a software solution that I can automate with vmix via midi or program changes

Audio is indeed always the poor guy, sadly. I'm glad Martin implemented the multi channel sdi audio, but if I look at the requests I would like the most, they're almost all audio related. Also if I take a look at our desk: most outboard gear we use is audio related and takes a huge amount of desk space. Sometimes it's really difficult to create a workaround if the requirments of the job require something vmix can't do (yet).
I have may great plugins laying around, and a lot of dsp plugins on the soundcards. Many of them would be really useful and would cost me no extra money.
Since there is already midi support, it would be great if individual parameters of vst plugins could be linked to midi controllers, if this ever gets implemented.
Also important is to measure the vst cpu usage seperatly from the others. This way we can be sure the plugins don't destablise the system..
And to finish: it would be the bomb if we could use a typical setup with inserts, sends and returns. Perhaps hidden behind an 'advanced' button. So we can put it on a seperate screen. Would love to keep those bulky audio mixers home and just take a soundcard.

so much simple and cost effective it would be to have real audio processing capabilities on vMix not those it has very limited ... not eve gain reductio meter has on compressor.... my suggestion is to go full dynamic multhreading vst3 64 bits. with automatic delay compensation.
Cheers,
PFBM
