When exporting our replay clips, some of the events had no audio.

I exported it all in one video file.

Has anyone else had that problem or could it be a problem with my machine?

I just found this old thread on which I actually replied (didn't remember that :D ):

Seems that the problem is not fully solved yet.

It's not the only issue with exporting instant replay clips.

Some video parts are in slowmotion and some are not while exporting "all" events in an event list als a single video file.

Therefore some of the audio is also out of sync (if it has audio)

I could send such an exported video file to you, if there it helps you solve the problem.

Thanks for the example. I've investigated this and it looks like there is a bug when exporting
events that overlap in time.

I will get this bug fixed as soon as possible, but can you confirm that your example had overlaps?

Thanks,

Martin

I just looked through all in and out points markers and found out that not a single event overlapsed another, so it must be another problem.

BUT...I think it has something to do with the exported file size, could this be the problem?

When I exclude some of the events and the exported file size is lower than ~2048mb, then there are no issues with audio and playback speed.

It could be just a coincidence, but maybe it's the source of the problem.

Update:

Of course there a some overlapping events, but just the other camera angles from the same event if that counts.

Once again I had some issues when exporting a replay playlist. Video and audio was not in sync anymore, but at least ther is no "slowdown" in the video.

There are overlapping events and the overall file size is over 4GB. Could the file size be the problem?

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

This should be fixed in vMix 18, have you updated yet?

I used the latest version of Vmix 18. Just updated a couple of hours before the live production started on friday. Did not have any issues (at least I didn't recognize any) with earlier Vmix 18 releases.

If the export was generated using 18.0.0.57 then you might need to send it to us for analysis.

Thanks,

Martin

Sry, false alarm. This time the problem came from somewhere else

Update:

Yesterday we really had some exporting issues, I'll send you the downloadlink per mail.

Patrick
