The ability to use RTMP encoders is available with Livestream, BUT it depends on the plan you have with them. For the entry level plans they restrict the encoders, at the Enterprise level it is unrestricted. I don't see them changing their business model in a hurry to cater for free/low usage users.

Last time we had to use them, our client payed $500 a month for it and I did not get RTMP as option.

I just noticed restream.io has the option to stream to livestream.com. Might be worth checking that out..

just checked it out myself, and it's simple to get the right rtmp code for livestream.com:
rtmp://publish.livestream.com/mogulus/[channelname]/username=[username]/password=[password]/isAutoLive=true
Replace the values in brackets with: [channelname] with your channel name, [username] with your username, and [password] with your password In the "Stream" field enter livestream
This should work accordig to google.

I'd be curious to know why users want to use Livestream as their CDN. We have a number of streaming providers we work with, many with the same pricing and feature set as Livestream: http://www.vmix.com/partners/Something to think about....

I use vMix with Livestream all the time. It is not a big problem. All I do is setup my broadcast in vMix launch the Livestream producer app hit the External button and away we go. The only thing you will need to do is make sure your external setting match the setting you setup in Livestream producer, and then Livestream will see it as a camera with audio and work great. I open up the Livestream audio mixer and nest it in one corner and the livestream video window in the other corner. Hope this helps you.

Don't have to worry about using any Livestream anymore, Junior team folded and now gone to work for a semi-pro team we just started, and will be using Dacast for all our streams now.
